CONDITION OF ITEMS

This is a private collection of a garden Railway belonging to the estate of a local enthusiast which has been running in his garden. Unfortunately due to ill health over the last few years there has been no maintenance carried out to the locomotives or rolling stock, so all items are purchased ‘As Seen’ without any guarantees or tests as all purchasers are deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the authenticity and condition of any lots before bidding.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

Messrs Hunters Turner Evans Stevens disclaim all responsibility for loss or damage to goods, or for unauthorized removal of goods unless caused by the direct negligence of their employees.

BIDDING

1. The auctioneers reserve the right to:-
a) Refuse any bid
b) Divide, combine, add to, or withdraw any lot
c) Advance the bidding at their own discretion
d) Bid on behalf of the Vendor on lots where there may be a reserve price
e) In the event of a dispute to settle same and re-offer the lot.

The Auctioneers act as Agents only.

PURCHASERS NOTES

1. An auctioneers commission of 15%, will be payable by purchasers, plus VAT. There is no VAT upon the goods themselves
2. Payment must be in cash or by bank/credit card.
3. All lots to be paid for on day of sale.
4. Commission to purchase stated lots will be undertaken by the Auctioneers (without charge) subject to written order obtainable from Auctioneers staff.
5. No warranty is provided on any items.
