Specialist Advice
The Energy Surveys division of Turner Evans Stevens group was developed out of a long standing relationship with several of the major Housing Associations who were already existing clients of the main company, but required further specialist advice in respect of energy conservation.
ISO EN 9002 Accreditation
Although only formed in 2001, this relatively new division of the business has expanded to provide professional energy related advice to local companies, Local Authorities, private clients and Landlords, all under ISO EN 9002 accreditation.
Recent amendments to the Building Regulations have particularly concentrated on energy conservation, in all buildings, both domestic and commercial, and show the Government's continuing drive to reduce C02 emissions and thus help reduce global warming. The practicalities of this are that in future all planning applications will have

to include SAP ratings, which is the Government's approved energy rating system. The SAP rating has been designed to provide an accurate measure of the annual fuel costs for the heating and hot water requirements of a property.
NHER Surveyors
Using NHER (National Home Energy Rating) qualified surveyors and assessors and specialised computer software, we are able to produce SAP and NHER ratings, which accurately predict energy running costs.
A further requirement of the current Building Regulations is that all repair and replacement work to flues, and boiler and heating replacements need Building Regulation Approval and inspection unless carried out by an approved contractor.
We at Energy Surveys are fortunate to be partnering with CORGI registered companies, which enables us to carry out this work and in addition to provide Landlords Safety Certificates for both private and corporate clients.
